A few years ago, I had the opportunity to "play" with some educational programs on an Apple][//c (I believe); the most fascinating programs I used, behind "Where in the [...] is Carmen Sandiago?", were two programs: one that allowed a user to build and test cars; the other let a user build a simulated circut using random floating components (transistors, switches, etc.).
