I realize that this song has been identified numerous times but I must clear up something about the song. The tunes was indeed written about an 80 foot sloop called the 'Southern Cross' but the vessel belongs to Stephen Stills, not Crosby or Nash. Regardless, the song is very good, and if you are fortunate enough to have seen this song's video on MTV, you can appreciate the song even more. Brian Durnell BTL - Columbus, O. cbosgd!bdd

Funny, I could have sworn that the song *was* about the constellation, seeing as the lyrics go When you see the Southern Cross for the first time You understand just why you came this way...
