[net.cooks] the whole quote and nothing but the quote

The net must have mangled the ellipsis after the "In vino veritas" quote,
which of course suggests that not all the words have been included,
but they taught us in Conversational Latin 101 that most ancient Romans
we're likely to meet today would understand us anyway.

P. S. "Wouldn't be much of a sentence without a verb, would it?"
isn't much of one either. :-)
