I am looking for the ZMODEM (rz/sz) suite of programs to build on a Sun4, SunOS4.1 system. Can someone advise where I can ftp 'em from. Please e-mail to address below and disregard funky mail headers - I'm still setting up the Cnews system. Thanks, //Andy Liwen

A: You can find a Unix z-modem package in the /unix/ts directory at the anonymous ftp site uwasa.fi. The instructions for processing this unix package are in /unix/ts/0news-u. ................................................................... The individual source files for ZMODEM are in directory pd3:<misc.zmodem> and you'll find a tar of the whole thing in pd3:<misc.unix> on SIMTEL20. You'll always find the latest release there as we get it directly from Chuck Forsberg. If you are in North America, please get it from SIMTEL20 or wuarchive, not from uwasai.fi. The overseas Internet link is badly overloaded. BTW (1) the /unix/ts/0news-u file includes instructions on how to handle these tar (.Z) and /or .zoo files on Unix. BTW (2) the source of the overload has not been ascertained, so let's refrain from any indications here. >Keith Petersen >Maintainer of SIMTEL20's MSDOS, MISC & CP/M archives [IP address 26.2.0.74] >Internet: w8sdz@WSMR-SIMTEL20.Army.Mil or w8sdz@vela.acs.oakland.edu >Uucp: uunet!umich!vela!w8sdz BITNET: w8sdz@OAKLAND ...................................................................
