Where's the focus for xtrek activity? I have a version with bugs, and no docs, included in the X11R4 release; there must be a later archive or a patch or something somewhere, and if not, I'd like to send one in... Where's the archive site for xtrek?

If you have a version with no docs on the R4 tape, you were using the code from contrib/games/xtrek. This code *somehow* (insert incredulous rambling) got to the Consortium and they put it on the tape. It's the wrong stuff, and broken. What you want is contrib/games/xtrek.cmu which is verson Xtrek I 5.4 (with lotsa docs). > Where's the archive site for xtrek? expo.lcs.mit.edu:/contrib/xtrek.tar.Z is v Xtrek I 6.0b There is also an Xtrek I D 3.1 recently posted to comp.sources.x as xtrek - this is from another (private) branch of development from the original UCB Xtrek I. The new features of D 3.1 should probably be merged into 6.0b at some point, but someone will need to voulnteer to do this. We don't have time here, and I'm sure Dan Dickey @ Cray (and creator of D 3.1) has other things to do ... At the moment, there is no central place of development for Xtrek I. Anyone interested in picking up should probably ping off of Rob Ryan (rr2b@andrew.cmu.edu - 5.4 -> 6.0b) and Dan Dickey (ddickey@lotus.cray.com if memory serves ...). dan lovinger lovinger@andrew.cmu.edu one of the (former) Xtrek crew @ CMU (version 4.0 -> 6.0b)
