Our Organization is making the painful transition from all centralized
Big Mainframe (IBM, VM/CMS) machines to the distributed Workstation
environment.
The problem is that a lot of people (clerks, managers etc.) do NOT
want to take the time to learn another Editor, and their use of
the computer is limited anyway. There is a commercial 'xedit' clone
for the unix environment, but it occurred to me that it would be fairly
easy to do an emulation under Gnumacs. I don't really want to re-invent
the wheel. (Of course, One would have to be fairly "sick" to enjoy using
'xedit' under any circumstances... :-) )
Anybody have such a silly beastie? Please use e-mail. Thanks in advance...
