I am looking for software which allows me to route mail and news from
FidoNet to Usenet and visa versa.
It is going to run on a SCO Unix system.
If somebody could point me to an archive-server or uucp site which has
such software available ( alas no FTP).

try mailing rfmail@otax.tky.hut.fi they have a very good fidonet>usenet gateway implementation.

In a similar vein, how about a Usenet <--> Internet Email gateway? (I.e.,
a mechanism for automatically forwarding incoming Usenet news to an Internet
Email address, and vice versa.) Anybody have source (or a human expert) for
this?
