I need the sources to roell's (or other) port of X11R4 (especially the server) to 386 UNIX. I've tried ftp'ing to flop.informatik.tu-muenchen.de, but I always get connection timed out or host unreachable errors. If someone else has managed to obtain the sources and can make them available for ftp (even temporarily), I would appreciate it very much. Please reply by email to moore@cs.utk.edu. The complete distribution of Tom Roell's server for sVGA (ET4000
cards) is located at the following US locations:
expo.lcs.mit.edu in /contrib/386ix....tar.Z
uunet.uu.net in /X/contrib/386ix....tar.Z
All of the filenames will begin with 386ix. For future reference, if
you are looking for X applications (and they're good ones) chances are
it will be posted to either of these 2 locations within a month of its
release. Also pick up the "famous" ftp.list from pilot.njin.net or get
it from this newsgroup every month.
