Yes, I know it's fairly simple, but rather than reinventing the wheel.... Does anyone have a program which reads a file of Unix/RFC822 mail messages and strips out selected headers (or, alternatively, keeps just selected headers)? For someone with 30-40MB of archived email, stripping out "Received:", "Message-Id:", and "Return-Path:" (if the same as the "From:" or "Reply-To:") could save several megs. -- Geoff Arnold, PC-NFS architect, Sun Microsystems.
