[comp.sources.wanted] PD Curses for unix, ncurses, pcurses

dnelson@mthvax.cs.miami.edu (Dru Nelson) (12/09/90)

  Hello,

I have picked up a copy of pcurses off of comp.sources.unix/Volume1.
It appears to be a curses clone for unix (I have not unshared it.)

Are there any later versions or better pd curses out there?

pcurses is a supplement to dcurses2 which is shareware, and is, in my
opinion, not worth the money.

There is also a set of SOURCES, pccurs14, available on SIMTEL20 under
PD1:<MSDOS.SCREEN>

I have found it to be exceptionally well written, and even more so
considering that, as far as I can tell, it is entirely FREE.

The sources are well enough organized that you can add modifications
fairly quickly.

I do not know how much success you will have in reaching him though.
I have tried to send him some extensions, but have heard nothing.

Good Luck!
