As far as I know, VTEDIT has not changed since TECO-11 days except possibly for self infliced hacks to the basic code. If you have the old one, you are up to date unless I am mistaken. -- Bill Parke parke%star.enet.dec@decwrl.dec.com VMS Development decwrl!star.enet.dec.com!parke Digital Equipment Corp parke@star.enet.dec.com 110 Spit Brook Road ZK01-1/F22, Nashua NH 03063 The views expressed are my own.

Does anyone have a copy of the VTEDIT macro for TECO32 (VAX/VMS) that they can send me? Please reply via mail, and I'll ask the first respondent to send it. (No sense clogging the 'net up with several copies.) I can FTP, or take uuencoded zoo files via mail. If anyone else wants a copy, email a request to me, and I'll forward a copy if I get one. Sorry if you've seen this message before, but I've been having trouble with news items not being sent out properly. Thanks in advance, (and lets hope this one gets out!) -- Wayne Myles Email: ins_wayne@actew.oz.au, wsm@ccadfa.cc.adfa.oz.au System Manager, Snail: GPO Box 366, Canberra ACT 2601, Australia. In article <1990Dec18.140930.158@actew.oz.au>, I asked: > Does anyone have a copy of the VTEDIT macro for TECO32 (VAX/VMS)? The answer is emphatically YES. Mark Henderson (markh@crl.labs.tek.com) replied in no time at all, and pointed me at the ~ftp/pub/teco directory on usc.edu. If you're into TECO, this is a veritable treasure trove! Thanks, Mark. The memories of the old days of hacking have come flooding back! I might even try to find my TECO pretty-printer :-) Thanks also to those who responded to my post regarding my news getting out to the world. -- Wayne Myles Email: ins_wayne@actew.oz.au, wsm@ccadfa.cc.adfa.oz.au System Manager, Snail: GPO Box 366, Canberra ACT 2601, Australia.
