I used to be allergic to wheat when I was a child, but since
then have outgrown this allergy.  To the person who is allergic
to wheat:  I don't think you have to grind your own rice flour.
It is available in most health food stores.  I never did find
a good bread recipe with rice flour, but I enjoyed cornbread
made with rice flour.  The cookies I made with rice flour weren't
great, but they were edible.  They seemed awfully grainy to me.
Are you allergic to barley flour?  I've done baking with that.
It seemed to have a lighter, less grainy consistency than rice
flour, and I was able to make some good cakes (i.e. pound cake)
with it.  At the health food store, my mom used to buy me some
soya cookies, which were good.  I've tried cooking with soya
