Miff is the format that's used by ImageMagick, an image processing
and display program written by John Cristy (cristy@dupont.com). It can
be anon ftp'd from expo.lcs.mit.edu as contrib/ImageMagick.tar.Z .

The miff format is produced by a package called ImageMagick. It is available
for anonymous ftp from expo.lcs.mit.edu as:

-rw-rw-rw- 1 ftp 30 1197944 Jan 24 22:53 ImageMagick.tar.Z

Hope this helps...
