Reply to path only (uunet!eeocdt!darrell) Hello, I have read a little about two sources of interest to me; flex and bison. I see them listed in UUNETS directory listing. I tried to UUCP them to myself but this failed as the mail message below indicates. From uucp Sat Feb 23 22:12 EST 1991 REQUEST: uunet!/usr/spool/ftp/gnu/bison-1.12.tar.Z --> eeocdt!/usr/spool/uucppublic/bison-1.12.tar.Z (darrell) (SYSTEM: uunet) remote access to path/file denied I have UUCP'd files from uunet before. Sometimes it works as in the case of vnew, rn, compress, and patches. Sometimes it fails as in the case above. The permissions were correct, as I recall. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Any suggestions as to how I can get these sources?? I don't have ftp or the knowlegde to use it. I already have lex and yacc on our UNIX machines and I have found it very usefull. I would like to have it on my PC as well. Will flex and bison compile under Turbo C?
