Hi, We are looking for some way of imposing quotas based on CPU usage on our Fujitsu Unix system (System VR4 a.k.a UXP) both for batch and interactive jobs. The batch job quotaing could easily be accomplished by products such as NQS or similar but the interactive jobs is a bit harder. My current idea is to modify a shell (I have the source code for the T shell and bash) to check a CPU quotas file before executing a command, updating the quotas file after a command execution. Has anyone any information on any third party or public domain systems that does this? Has anyone done something similar?
