And for anyone concerned about the quality of construction of a Cuisinart, I offer the following unscientific anecdote. I dropped my DLC-8F from a height of about 3 feet, and the floor came out second best. The DLC-8F was undamaged; the soft floor tile took a big gouge. (Wot, me?
