[comp.sources.wanted] BSD 'w' command for SYSV

boydn@citylite.UUCP (Boyd M. Naron) (03/12/91)

I've been playing with some source code that I found on some system
somewhere that provides a 'w'-like command for my UNISYS SYS-V Box. Well,
actually to tell you the truth, it says it's for SYS-V but not specifically
for my system. Anyway, I have run up against a brick wall in getting this
bugger to compile. There are 2 programs 'avenrun' which maintains a psuedoo
load average in shared memory and a program called appropriately enough 'w'.
I have been trying for well over 4 months to get this program to run with no
success.

Is there ANYONE out there that can provide me with a copy of this program
that will compile on my UNISYS 5000/95 running SYS-V.3 (Unisys release
number 6.0.2 or 6.0.3). It would save me from certain hair loss!

I will even use MY dime if someone will provide me with anon-UUCP to their
system to pick it up.

Thanks,
