[comp.sources.wanted] NIT based NFS protocol analyser wanted

neil@pio.gid.co.uk (Neil Todd) (03/13/91)

I am looking for a NIT based NFS protocol analyser to run on my 4.1 Sun.

I need to be able to analyse both the calls and replies.

I have modified David Curry's nfswatch to give me an analyser for
calls, but I'm having difficulty dealing with replies (I can capture them
but the xdr_replymsg gets upset.

Is there anything PD or publically available out there to save me
completely reinventing the wheel ?

Regards,

neil

Try Van Jacobsen's (et al) tcpdump. Available from better archive
sites everywhere.
