I am interested in source code for a calendar program. I'd like to use it to keep track of birthdays, appointments, ... The ability to create post script or ascii hardcopy would be required. An X interface would be nice. There is a plethora of different calendar programs in the comp.sources.x, comp.sources.unix and comp.sources.misc archives on uunet.uu.net (and on any other archive sites that archive those newsgroups). I suggest you ftp to uunet.uu.net, get the file "index" in the /comp.sources.unix, /comp.sources.misc and /comp.sources.x directories, and greop for the word "calendar" in them. You could also telnet to quiche.cs.mcgill.ca, log in as "archie" with no password, and type "whatis calendar", then use the other archie commands to locate the archive sites of any parckages that look interesting (there's a "help" command for more information). -- Jonathan Kamens USnail: MIT Project Athena 11 Ashford Terrace jik@Athena.MIT.EDU Allston, MA 02134 Office: 617-253-8085 Home: 617-782-0710
