In newsgroup comp.sys.hp, the program above was mentioned as a way to format
output for printing to a LJII printer. I posted a request for this program
in the aforementioned newsgroup, but have yet to receive a reply.

If you have any info. regarding this program, I would appreciate a posted reply
or email to me directly.

Thanks in advance,

Maybe because HP's mailer appears not to be able to get a message to you.
Sounds like you missed the following reply I made in that group:

I am not sure if this is what you want but the following is available at
the SIMTEL20 archive site:

  Directory PD1:<MSDOS.LASER>
   Filename Type Length Date Description
   ============================================
FINEPRNT.ZIP B 42399 910221 Print small 6pt font text on HP LaserJet ptr

Here are the ftp addresses for the SIMTEL20 archive sites and some instructions
for getting the program by an email server:

New Mexico: simtel20.army.mil (26.2.0.74) in the directory listed above
                                             (PDx:<MSDOS.xxxxx> )
  Missouri: wuarchive.wustl.edu (128.252.135.4) in mirrors/msdos/xxxxx
  Australia: sol.deakin.oz.au (128.184.1.1) in pub/PC/simtel-20/xxxxx

In the body of the mail have the command:
      GET PDGET HELP PCSERV-L

  Also (any ftp site):
            BITFTP@PUCC.PRINCETON.EDU

In the body of the mail have the command:
     HELP

  Trickle servers (Simtel20 access only):
