ALASKAN HALIBUT WITH FRESH VEGETABLES

1 lime or lemon, divided
1 medium carrot, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
4 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons dry white wine
1/4 teaspoon oregano
    Salt & Pepper
1 medium tomato, peeled and diced
4 halibut steaks, thawed
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

	Thinly slice half lime.  Combine carrot, celery, green onions, lime
	slices, wine, oregano, dash salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper in microwave
	proof platter.  Cover with waxed paper.

	Microwave at HIGH about 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender;
	add tomato.  Season halibut with salt and pepper.

	Arrange halibut over vegetables; sprinkle with parseley.  Cover with
	plastic wrap and microwave at HIGH 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes
	easily when tested with a fork; turn platter once during cooking. 

	Makes 4 servings.
