I'm interested in freezing refried beans.Does anyone know if there is any thing wrong in freezing them?

Yes you can freeze refried beans. It works rather well in fact. (Up to two months).

#R:genrad:-387500:zeppo:6400003:000:359 zeppo!kjg Mar 1 11:21:00 1984 We always make a couple qaurts of refried beans and freeze them in plastic pint Tuperware-style containers (empty margarine, wipped cream or chinese food tubs - yes, there was a chinese restaurant that used plastic tubs for take out). Works great. I suppose if you were into canning you could can 'em, too. Kevin J Glass ATT-BL Whippany harpo!kjg
