I have checked the usual archive sites and 'archie', but have not found anything like an archive of fonts suitable for use with X11. (Note: searching on archie for 'font' give _many_ matches, so I could have missed a candidate -- no flames please if I did mmiss something) In particular, I have a friend who needs large fonts -- larger than 40pt. Pointers to freely available or even $$ sources of fonts (in general, or large ones in specific) would be appreciated. I will summarize the responses.
