When I said you can use the scum from clarifying butter on vegetables and such I meant unsalted butter. I ALWAYS use unsalted butter in cooking since it gives you greater control over the taste of the final outcome. Sorry about that. Betsy Cvetic ihnp4!drux3!eac 303-538-3406
