< Is the source code for the answers in Tony Hansen's 'The C++ Answer < Book' available by ftp from somewhere, and if so, where? The C++ code from my book "The C++ Answer Book" is available in AT&T's research network library, a.k.a. netlib. !!!!!!! NEWS FLASH !!!!!!! The netlib may be reached either via a mail server or >>> via Internet FTP. <<< To access the information file on the code via the mail server, send a mail message to netlib@research.att.com or research!netlib which has the following line within its body: send index from c++/answerbook Then to get the code for any particular exercise, send a message with a line such as this in its body: send 3.5 from c++/answerbook. You will also need to retrieve the file "tools". Appendix B may also be useful. send tools from c++/answerbook send appendixb from c++/answerbook General information on netlib may be retrieved with send index To access the information file via FTP, use the command "ftp research.att.com" and log in as "netlib" (note: do NOT log in as "anonymous"). Use your login@domain as the password. Then do the command "cd c++/answerbook". The files named above may then be retrieved. I hope that this code proves of use to you, just as my book is. Cheers!
