A friend has a problem: his mom can't easily digest lactose, and he needs
recipes for ices and ice creams that don't contain milk/milk products.

Please respond if you have any suggestions at all!

First, why don't you try "frogurt", which is frozen icecream-like
yougurt? On this net yougurt and lactose intolerance have been
discussed in great detail so I will not repeat it here. But it
suffices to say that it is known that wmost people who cannot
tolerate milk sugars can indeed tolerate and digest yogurt.

Disclaimer: You try yougurt at your own risk. No malpractice
	       suits please!
