I am looking for a bitmap editor for X11R3 that allows simple editing (turning bits on and off, basically) for large bitmaps. I need it to clean up scanned images. Binaries for DECstations would be fine, too. Dxpaint would work if I could figure out an easy way to generate a DDIF file from a bitmap in PostScript image format or some other simple format.
