Just curious, but my system (SysV R2 I believe) does not have a "w" command, nor an "uptime" command. Is there a lookalike for these command out there, or is it fairly simple to write? -- +-------------------------------------------------+---------------------------+ : Donald Burr, SysAdmin, NIXBBS, Carpinteria : "Yes, Star Trek IS a way : : EMAIL: uunet!ucsbcsl!dschub!sbanet!nixbbs!dburr : of life." -Charles Gousha : +-------------------------------------------------+---------------------------+

I've seen /etc/whodo on some SYS V's.
