A friend needs to implement anti-aliased lines in microcode and/or hardware. Can anyone point me to published algorithms? I seem to remember one from Waterloo. The background will be a fixed color and the intersection of two lines is irrelevent. Thanks, Brad Myers University of Toronto

The paper Brad Myers referred to is "Incremental Linear Interpolation" Dan Field TOG 4:1 (January 1985) pp. 1-11. Dan has other work available as TR's and informal reports. Send e-mail to DEField%watCGL@Waterloo.CSNet if you are interested in further information on his work. (He will not get the message until January because he is on travel until then.)
