Sun have announced a Network extensible Window System (NeWS) based on PostScript which they are going to support in the way they supported their NFS - ie publish the spec, license, encourage porting etc. NeWS is intended to be operating system independent, and in a talk here recently Bill Joy mentioned that implementations on some PCs were being tested. Has anyone out there in netland got any more information on these implementations ? Thanks Tony Begg tony@ee.brunel.ac.uk
