I am writing antialiased routines for drawing figures of all types, both
filled and not. Most of the algorithms for drawing figures are prohibitive
in that they make heavy use of floats, multiplies and divides. Assuming the
lack of a coprocessor this results in a slow routine that is to ungainly for
interactive work. I would like to hear from anyone who has done antialiased
figures in C that perform. If for some reason it is mathematically impossible
to draw antialiased lines, etc using integer adds and subs please let me
know that also!
BTW I am familiar with the recent stuff in the SIGGRAPH proceedings, again
most of it is either incomprehensible or sssllooowwww.
Thanks for any help or pointers you can give me.
