[Sorry if this appears twice but my system crashed and I don't know if
the last one got posted or not ]
We are looking for a graphics package with good raster graphics
capabilities together with vector graphics. (our primary application
is image processing)
The basic devices we need supported are SUN-2/3, imagen laser printer,
tektronix devices, hp plotters.
Ideally, we would like well documented source code so that we may add
drivers and/or any changes as per our needs; i.e. we are looking more
for a "development" system rather than a "user" system.
Also, we would like packages which use modern languages with modern data
structures in their design (i.e. NOT FORTRAN !). The ides of "device
independence" is nice but if designed for FORTRAN users, not very convenient
to work with (in our opinion)
