Remember "LIVE", last year's vaporware real-time frame-grabber for the AMIGA, from A-Squared Systems? Anything like it on the market, for any low-end machine? I'm only interested in real-time frame grabbers that can blast every frame of an NTSC TV signal into memory, not the "only takes a few seconds" units. John Nagle

AMIGA Live! is very much alive. Rumors abound, that Arthur and Wendy will be making an "important announcement" at the next FAUG meeting on June 2. I've seen in demonstrated, at it looked good then, and it should be even better now. One of the delays was caused by legal problems with CA, which have apparently been resolved. I also think that additional delays resulted from trying to make it more comparable to Digi-View, in being able to do HAM pictures. You may want to come to the FAUG meeting, or better yet, drop on in at the Amiga developers meeting at Stanford, this Thursday night, both Arthur and Wendy (the A-Squared people) are always there. If you are really needing one, they will make up custom units, but it costs about 1K$. -- *** mike (powered by M&Ms) smithwick *** "ever felt like life was a game, and someone gave you the wrong instruction book?"
