The next meeting of the Performance Evaluation TIG is May 20, 1987 at the NASA Ames Research Center. The meeting will be in the main cafeteria from 11:45 to 1. Because the meeting is at NASA, only US citizens and permanent residents can attend. On the agenda: SIGGRAPH 87. Gene Miya wants to talk about experiment design. Brian Croll wants to talk about testing 3D vector performance. Contacts: Julian Gomez RIACS 415/694-6142 julian@riacs.edu Brian Croll Sun 415/691-4319 brian@sun.com To reach Ames: 101 to the Moffett Blvd exit in Mountain View. If you're coming from SF, it's after the Stierlin and Hwy 85 exits (Hwy 237 is too far). If you're coming from Santa Clara, it's the second exit after 237. Make sure to take Moffett Blvd towards NASA, not away from it. Turn left at the stop sign; the guard will show you where the NASA visitor center is. Sign in there and they will give you a map. Make sure to bring a driver's license in case they card you for nationality. I suggest walking to the cafeteria, as parking at that time of day is difficult; it's about 1/5 mile from the visitor center. We will be in a screened off area of the main room. -- Scientists will study your brain to learn more about your distant cousin, Man.
