I am trying to find a color monitor suitable for hooking up to a "SuperMac" color video card. This is a "1k" display card (I don't know whether it's interlaced or not), and their 19" monitor runs about $3000 list price. Does anyone know of a possibly suitable 19" monitor that is cheaper? Please reply by mail. -- =Spencer ({ihnp4,decvax}!utah-cs!thomas, thomas@cs.utah.edu)

I am looking at technote 144 from mac binaries, hooking up a Mac II to a "third party" color monitor. In there they give the pinouts of the adapter card: 1,4,6,11,13,14 signal ground 2 red 3 CSync- (composite sync) 5,12 green (with sync) 9 blue 7,8,10,15 not connected And also the pin connections to two "third party" monitors. Mac II Sony Multiscan NEC Multisync 1 1 6,7,8,9 ground 2 3 1 red 5 4 2 Green (sync) 9 5 3 blue For Multisync they say monitor set to analog and manual, and will also work with equivalent monitors such as Taxan Super Vision 770 This should be all the goodies you need for this and many other applications! Cheers tj
