We here at the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygeine are trying to convert our logo to a binary file so that it can be saved as a permanent macro in an HP LaserJet Series II printer. We are using an Eyescan optical scanner to read the image off of a photocopy. Everything is going smooth, except that we are not able to save the image file as a generic binary file. Anyone know how this is done? We are familiar with the "Convert" program which is run as a outside program from Eyescan, but we do not know what conversion to use to produce a generic binary file. It seems like an easy concept (one bit plane translates very nicely into a binary data image file), but we cannot figure out how to do it. When we get the binary image file, I assume all that needs to be done is to send the appropriate commands to the LaserJet and then send the graphics data one "line" at a time with the correct command, and then clean up with some ending commands (I've done something like this before). But we need that binary data image file. All suggestions and help is highly appreciated! -Chris -- Chris Lishka /lishka@uwslh.uucp Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene <-lishka%uwslh.uucp@rsch.wisc.edu \{seismo, harvard,topaz,...}!uwvax!uwslh!lishka
