GIF currently supports CGA, EGA, VGA, Hercules, Apple Mac, Mac II, Apple IIgs, IIe/IIc/II+/II, Atart ST, Amiga, Epson, TI-PC, Tandy 2000. To my knowledge it does not support Commodore 64/128, Atari 8-bit, and the support for Apple II (except IIgs) is still in beta testing. I also have the GIF specification documents (right here on the disk of this workstation, ready to be mailed to anyone who wants them). Disclaimer: I am not in any way connected with CompuServe's GIF. Are there any utilities that support the conversion of GIF files directly into other formats, like PC Paintbrush, Windows Paint, or MacPaint? Since a lot of pictures are too big for the screen it is a pain to snapshot a picture a screen at a time and paste the pieces back together. -- Joel Upchurch @ CONCURRENT Computer Corporation (305-850-1040) Southern Development Center/2486 Sand Lake Road/ Orlando, Florida 32809 {decvax!ucf-cs, ihnp4!pesnta, vax135!petsd, akgua!codas}!peora!joel
