Abrams is the same person who gave us the heavy metal/Stones/Who/Doors format, typified by such radio stations as WCOZ in Boston. (Now, of course , COZ has softened a bit after it lost more than 8 points in the ratings). I like new music, but I'd would not mind an occasional oldie that had nothing to do punk (like Steely Dan, soul, or Harry Nilson). But with some stations, it used to be that you heard the Cars and Journey five times a day -- now your hear the Cars and Oingo Boingo five times a day. Always complaining, Robert P.
