I have always had *very* pleasing results with these hints in salad making.

I use the seven-seas italian dressing mix.  When it says to add the water,
instead add teaspoon water and the rest rose wine.  Also, the longer it
sits in the fridge (reasonable time!! a Few days) the better it tastes!

On the salad itself, when done preparing (when every thing is added in
that you want) on top sprikle lavishly with Thyme and chives and a little
paprika.  You'll see the difference.!

An alternative is to use red wine vinegar instead of regular vinegar.
The effect is the same.
