We have moved the date of our usual meeting this month to allow our
members to attend the NCGA at the other end of the state. We would
especially like to encourage scientists and engineers to attend as this
isn't simply an issue for artists. In particular, we wish to discuss
what makes BAD computer graphics. Bring your axes! This meeting will
also be the prelude to the opening of the Art of Technology exhibit at
De Anza College next month.

For comp.graphics:
So you want to discuss the aestetics of computer graphics? This is your
chance. Sorry Luxo(tm), Jr. and Red's Dream were well intended, but
a little lacking. I personally liked Oilspot and Lipstick and also
"Breaking Through" from the 1987 ACM/SIGGRAPH show.
