3/4" U-matic has one issue per tape. 1/2" VHS has two issues per tape
(except Issue #7). There is a handling charge in addition to the cost
for the tape.

Complete pricing information is available from the ACM Publication
Catalog. Back issues of the proceedings and many other ACM publications
are also available.

Issues 1-25 cover material up through and including the SIGGRAPH '86
conference. New issues scheduled for release are the following:

	#26 + #27	Material from CHI+GI'87 conference
	#28 + #29	Visualization in Scientific Computing
#30 + #31	Special video report on SIGGRAPH '87 and graphics
#32 ... Material from SIGGRAPH '87 film and video show

Notes: #28 and #29 have just been completed and should be on sale very
soon. #26 and #27 have been delayed in production, but are coming along.
#30 and #31 are being edited -- the cost for these tapes will be more than
the regular tapes because of production expenses associated with live
video. #32 should be done by mid-Winter. Depending on delays in the system,
the numbering may change a bit, so do not use these issue numbers for
ordering without first checking with the ACM Order Department.

Some of the material from SIGGRAPH '87 will be on various issues of the
SVR, but there is is no "film and video show" SVR as a regular issue.
This was the subject of an earlier posting. Please refer to that for
details.

The "special issue" of the SVR that features highlights of SIGGRAPH '87
is (as someone mentioned in this news group) a departure from normal
SVR issues. It was put together by some of the personnel who did the
Frost and Sullivan tape on SIGGRAPH '86, but it was not done by and is
in no way financially connected with Frost and Sullivan.

This issue of the SVR sells for substantially more than the normal
issues because the cost of production is included in the price.
Normally, an issue of the SVR only includes editting and duplicating
costs, because all of the production costs are borne by the
submitters. In this case, live action shooting and interviews were
conducted. This costs real money. The tape is priced accordingly.

A few issues of the SVR will be distributed by SIGGRAPH, but most are
for sale through the ACM Order Department. Arrangements might be made
for bulk purchase orders, but negotiations are pending. If such
arrangements are made, it is possible that these will be made through
the SIGGRAPH education committee (for institutions listed in the
SIGGRAPH education directory) and/or through the SIGGRAPH local groups
(for SIGGRAPH local groups that have filed a viability report for
1988). Please note, however, that no such arrangements are in place at
this time.
