Has anybody used histogram hyperbolization to perform contrast enhancement ? I am already familiar with the standard techniques of histogram equalization as found in Pavlidis. I have an old paper which outlines the technique, but have not been able to implement it as yet. I would appreciate the code if anyone has used it. It is supposed to a memoryless, non-linear, space-invariant transformation of pixel intensity.
