[comp.graphics] Reading graphics memory on an HDS 2000 terminal

pfarrell@anselm.UUCP (Gladiator Supreme.) (05/28/88)

I am looking for a way to access the graphics memory area of an HDS 2000
(Human Designed Systems) terminal connected to a vax 8600 in unix
environment. I need this for certain applications which may require
screen dumps to a printer not connected to the terminal. Also to write
the dump to a file. The actual graphics printing I have already written,
but I need a way to read the memory of the machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The HDS can do TEK4010 graphics, so if there is a routine for that, it
is a good possibility that it will work. Does any body have it?
