My favorite shareware graphics program for the IBM PC is one called ROSES, written by Derek B. Clegg. It produces floral patterns that possess a handmade quality, quite unlike the usual computer-generated images with their strict, mathematical geometries. I sent the requested $5 to the appropriate address in Berkeley, but my letter was returned "moved left no address." Does anyone know where I might contact the author? Please reply by Email to wilk@cs.cornell.edu.

To interested parties: I've posted a nice Amiga version of the Roses algorithm described in <8732@cup.portal.com> to comp.sys.amiga.tech.(*) If you want a compiled binary, or don't get c.s.a.tech, or are outside of the North American continent and want a copy, send me mail.
