[comp.graphics] references: Most asked questions in comp.graphics

eugene@eos.UUCP (Eugene Miya) (09/18/88)

Very shortly we will have Baldev Singh's graphics bibliography
on line (before next Friday, we are currently testing). All entries
are in ASCII refer format. Internet hosts will be able to FTP
compressed files. More limited specific queries can use a mailer daemon
[plain text].

If you are unfamiliar with refer (a troff filter, you can read about it
in the UPM) (it's real simple, and filters exist to turn it into
bibTeX is you desire). The same goes for compress (1) [see man compress].
(What? You don't have a Unix[tm] system? Tough, for now.)
We will also try a 3.5 and 5.25 inch disk distribution (you provide the
media).

An article will appear in ACM/SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics.

Long-range: we can always use typing help (especially if you are in
the Bay Area). Contributions always welcome.
P.S. Disk space and cycles provided by
the good people at the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC [tm]) without
whom this project would not be possible. Send correspondence to
siggraph@pioneer.arc.nasa.gov (UUCP: ames!pioneer!siggraph).
