The Limits of Human Perception (and Computer Graphics) A panel presentation hosted by Bay Area ACM/SIGGRAPH. Featured speakers will be: Roger Shepard, Dept. of Psychology, Stanford University Karen DeValois, Depts. of Psych and Physiological Optics, UC Berkeley Mike Clarke, Vivarium Program, Apple Computer, Inc. They will be discussing tactile, visual and auditory perception as it relates to the field of computer graphics. The limits of the human eye to perceive three dimensionality and the human preconceptions of reality affect the effective use of computer graphics in science, research, and art.
