[comp.graphics] PC board with parallel port

curl@wjvax.UUCP (Jim Curl) (10/08/88)

I am looking for an intelligent graphics board which has the following
characteristics:

	- PC/AT bus
	- General purpose processor
	- 50,000 vectors per second (average 30 pixels long)
	- Able to drive PGA (640x480)
	- 16 colors (monochrome might be acceptable)
	- 16 or 8 bit parallel input port

I have been having a problem with the last requirement. If anyone has
any information, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

What do you need the parallel port for?
Is it for vector / command input to the verctor processor on the card?
If the port is for command input why do you need the pc/at bus interface?
