Can you beat this? We have an annual event here in Austin, Tx, called The Annual Spam Cook-Off (or similar) where folks compete in making food to 'Throw Up or Away' I cherish food too much to ever have even wanted to come close, but maybe someone else can comment more ? (Prentiss, have you dared ? )

Hey! That doesn't beat the (Y?)(Eu?)reka CA annual Slug Festival. They have a slug cooking contest, where the recipe must contain at least one slug. These recipes are actually judged by taste! Last year a Banana Slug Cream Pie was entered, and as they cut into the pie, little live slugs started popping through the whipped cream topping. Only one judge ate a bite.
