[comp.graphics] Call for errata in "Intro to Ray Tracing" course notes

saponara@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu (Eric Haines) (10/28/88)

All of the authors of the SIGGRAPH '88 "Introduction to Ray Tracing" notes
are presently in the process of cleaning up the text, as these notes will
become a book sometime before SIGGRAPH '89. So, if you have a copy of these
notes and have found any errors of any sort, please report them to both myself
and to our editor:

	Andrew Glassner, glassner@xerox.com

He does not now receive Usenet news, so I'm posting for him. Please do not
post your errata (I'll summarize any found).

As an example, and as a correction you might wish to note, here's one that was
reported by Jeff Goldsmith a few weeks back:

A student of mine found a typographical error in your SIGGRAPH
'88 "Intro to Ray Tracing" course notes. In Equation set E11,
page 2-32, the third line should read: Qvy = -Nb/Dv2 rather than Nc.

All for now (and this is my last msg from this account, so note my address),
