[comp.graphics] Weighted Center of a 2d polygon

I am looking for an explanation of, or references to an algorithm for finding
the weighted center of a 2-d polygon.  The current algorithm we use is
to measure narrow slices of the polygon and average the total length in
both the x and y directions.
